Oh my, how honored I was when Lauryn’s name showed up on my phone asking to shoot their engagements. Even though there were a few bumps in the road at the beginning of the evening, this couple’s styled engagement session at the Grand Hotel in Fairhope, Alabama was absolutely stunning.
Lauryn and Jacob have been friends of mine since I can remember. Lauryn and I were in choir together, we were Azalea Trail Maids together, we attended each others Senior Teas, I photographed her senior portraits, and I have had the pleasure to watch her and Jacob grow in their relationship throughout the years.
Lauryn and Jacob were always the couple that every one oohed and aahed over in high school. If there was ever a couple that defined “high school sweethearts,” it was them and we all knew it (because our entire class said they would one day get married). So you can imagine when I heard the news of an engagement… I freaked. I ran through my house screaming of excitement for one of my dear friends. I am so honored and blessed to be a part of both of their lives, and I am delighted to be able to capture their precious love story. Now this is only the beach side portion of their engagement, so stay tuned for a second blog post for this couple… <3
