Well, I have a huge announcement everyone. I will be releasing an education site within the next few months!
I have had many people send emails with lots of questions about lighting, film, wedding workflow, and many many other things, so I decided to share these with everyone. The store will consist of mini e-guides covering workflow, posing, lighting situations, and much more.
To launch this wonderful new adventure, I am hosting the first #brpworkshops on June 26th – 27th of 2016. The workshop will take place on Obed Farm in Wilmer, Alabama.
Obed Farm is our family’s farm that has to be one of the most beautiful pieces of southern property I have seen. When you stay at Obed, you will get to meet my two favorite Donkeys in this world (who will fight for your attention because they think they are dogs that have to be petted at all times! ha!), our two bombshell blonde horses, our sweet (and at times loud) peacocks, and of course the chickens, ducks, and Canadian Geese. It is our own little slice of petting zoo heaven 😉 During your stay, you’ll housed in our newly renovated farmhouse, so feel free to bring your favorite snacks! Food, snacks, and sweets will be stocked within the cabinets, along with coffee, creamer, and a few other goodies stocking the fridge. Below you can see a (iphone) video of a part of the  80 + acre property from the front porch of the house!
This 2 day workshop includes a fully styled shoot on Sunday featuring some of the best vendors on the Gulf Coast, over night accommodations on site, dinner on Sunday, breakfast and lunch on Monday, and a full day of teaching on Monday!
Workshop girls should arrive by 2 p.m. on Sunday and will be finished by 4 p.m. on Monday. If you need an extra night of housing because of travel, please email me and we can arrange further accommodations.
You do not have to shoot film to attend this workshop because the information that I will be sharing can apply to both film and digital photographers, how ever I do encourage renting a film camera to just test the waters 🙂 I will be covering all things weddings including prep the night before, day of, and post wedding processing.  You will be able to see how I pose my couples and interact with clients, as well as practice shooting details and other important moments that might appear on wedding day. I do encourage you to come with questions specific to your business, so that you get the most out of the workshop!
I am beyond excited to begin teaching and so thankful for the opportunity to share my knowledge of this industry with other creatives!
The price is $350 per person and a $100 deposit (deducted from the total) to reserve your spot! If you book and bring a friend and you both share accommodations, you both will receive $50 off your deposit.

**Â Requirements: You must be established. This will not be a beginners workshop for those learning to use their digital cameras. You may be new to film and weddings; however, I ask that you know how to shoot in manual (at least familiar with it) and are familiar with your cameras settings. You are allowed to attend if you shoot only digital, film is not required. No refunds will be given unless a replacement is found.
